Spending hours in airports can be a stressful experience and the Schiphol area is no exception. The concept of Jatra hotel and residence reacts to its surroundings from the outside but transforms the experience from the inside. It consists of a hard shell that opens up a little bit to show the soft heart of the buildings.

Both hotels have green patios and raised or lowered public platforms that encourage activities and relaxation. Preserving the old tree as a memory of this place was a key inspiration for creating this peaceful oasis for our senses.
